TORNADO RELIEF - CLOTHING
WOMEN OF THE SOUTH TO PROVIDE CLOTHING TO TORNADO VICTIMS


OKLAHOMA CITY, OK –  Women of the South Oklahoma City is scheduled to open a clothing store to aid those affected by the recent tornadoes.  The shop contains beautiful clothing for men, women and children. The store is located in Chateney Square at 10600 South Western, Suite 9.  Hours of operation are 10:00 am – 6:30 Monday –Saturday and 12 pm – 4 pm on Sunday. All clothing will be distributed at no charge, please bring proof that you suffered loss in the storms.

Mary Blankenship Pointer announced the opening on the store on Friday. According to   Pointer “It is wonderful how this group of women worked together to provide basic clothing needs to those that suffered so much in our community.”

The mission of the Women of the South is to “ provide civic, cultural and educational opportunities.”  Women of the South’s signature program provides  scholarships to single mothers. 

Organizers of the store include Connie Mashburn, Joyce Mauldin, Lana Elliott, Marynel Chabino, Sharon Greene, and Ashley Spaan.
