Bill is an Oklahoma City native. He has been a radio brat since 1985. While attending OU, he worked at KRXO when it first went on the air in 1987. Bill was offered a full-time position as KRXO’s first full-time music director and helped create the “World’s Largest on Air Music Library” and the first “Triple Play Thursday”.
He bounced around the OKC radio dial for the next 12 years, using assumed names pulled from the phone book. In his spare time (what little there is) Bill can be found cruising around town on his Harley.
In 2004 he was elected as President of the Downed Bikers Association. During his tenure, he helped raise $20,000 for ABATE to help pass “Jagger’s Law” and created “Bikefest” which raised $13,000 for the Downed Bikers Association.
Bill currently works full-time at Hooper Welding Supply, but he's glad to be back home on KRXO even if it is just on the weekends.
