5/17 - 5/17 McLoud Fraternal Order of Volunteer Firefighters 1st annual Poker Run. McLoud Fraternal Order of Volunteer Firefighters 1st annual Poker Run. Proceeds from the Poker Run will benefit our Fire Prevention Education Program. McLoud American Legion Post 244 will be our last stop and they will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks, all donations made will benefit the McLoud American Legion Post. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. at Kickstandz, 411 W. Broadway in McLoud. Registration is $20.00, rider cost is $5.00. 1st bike out at 10:00 a.m., last bike out at noon, last bike in by 5:00 p.m. 1st card and registration at Kickstandz, 411 W. Broadway, McLoud 2nd card at Bob's Lake Lounge, HWY 9, Little Axe 3rd card at Stan's, HWY 9, West of Seminole 4th card at VFW Post 1719, 3004 N. Post Rd., Chandler 5th card and awards at American Legion Post 244, 126 N. Main, McLoud Refreshments available at each stop. High hand wins $400.00. Low hand wins $200.00. 50/50 Tickets. 6/7 - 6/7 Fourth Annual Italian Festival Spice up your weekend at the fourth annual Italian Festival, Saturday June 7th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 4711 North Tulsa, in Oklahoma City, hosted by the Italians of Central Oklahoma (ICO). Admission is FREE! Experience Italy-the sights, sounds and delicious smells. Fun for the whole family. Enjoy an authentic Italian menu of chicken cacciatore, sausage with peppers and onions, spaghetti, meatball sandwiches, salad, desserts, Italian icee, sodas, wine and beer. Free live entertainment, art and craft booths, wine tasting, children's activity tent, novelties, raffle drawings, bocce ball tournament and more! Special guest this year is the I Colori Italiani Dance Troupe, from the Italian Club of Dallas-a must see! Each year, approximately 400 to 500 people attend the event. 8/8 - 8/8 Covenant Community Church Book fair Covenant Community Church is having a book fair Aug. 8 from 8-4. Homeschoolers are invited to host tables at a cost of $6. There will be a blood drive, bake sale, and a food vendor as well. Pets and People will also be attending.
