Ouch! Pelicans pick apart Thunder 101-89 in bayou dud.

Tyreke Evans scorches OKC with 41, a career high, and Thunder must wait to see 2nd place fate

Career nights by opponents are no surprise in Thunder headlines this season.  This time it was Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans who burned OKC with a career high 41 and New Orleans went on to beat the sleepwalking Thunder 101-89.

OKC played without Russell Westbrook, and lost Forward Nick Collison on a double-technical-ejection along with Austin Rivers of the Pelicans.  The Pelicans never let the Thunder get in a rhythm, as OKC shot just 9 of 32 from the 3-point arc.  Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 25, Serge Ibaka had 22 points and 16 rebounds.

Oklahoma City plays Detroit Wednesday night in the home regular season finale.
